New England Patriots Girls High School Flag Football League

Varsity & JV Divisions – 2026 Season

The New England Patriots Girls High School Flag Football League is open to high schools across Massachusetts.

Team Eligibility & Structure

Schools may register one Varsity team and up to two JV teams.
Schools are responsible for their own fields, officials’ fees, and transportation.
There is no cost to enter a high school team in the league.

Registration Process

The Head Coach should register the team in Sports Connect.
If a school does not yet have a Head Coach, the Athletic Director must complete the initial registration as the acting Head Coach.
Once a Head Coach is appointed, the Athletic Director can provide the team code to the coach to finalize the registration and manage the roster.
Head coaches can then send the team code to all assistant coaches.

2026 VARSITY High School Flag Football

On behalf of the Kraft family and the New England Patriots Foundation, we would like to welcome you to the Spring 2026 girls high school flag football season. This spring promises to be a fun, competitive, and trendsetting season. We are reaching out to you as many of your female students have expressed interest in this emerging sport. Through the New England Patriots, you have the opportunity to lead the efforts to expand women’s flag football in New England and across the United States.

For 2026 High School teams will be responsible for fields, transportation and officials fees. New teams will be able to order Nike uniforms, see attached information after registering. Prior teams are asked to use their existing uniforms but can also purchase new ones thru their Nike Profile.

High schools across New England have the support of the New England Patriots in starting girls' flag football. We hope to see the sport continue to grow and turn into a sanctioned varsity sport. To assist "NEW SCHOOLS" with this, the Patriots will provide the following to schools that have a girls' flag program:

Use of Patriots name and branding for a girl’s flag football program
Assistance in securing uniforms for the girl’s flag team
Assistant in securing NFL Flag, flag football kits

Flag football not only provides an opportunity to get involved in extracurricular activities while also teaching valuable life lessons. Instilling the importance of dedication, hard work, friendship, and most importantly, teamwork. In year 50 of Title IX, we want to open more opportunities for college athletics and scholarships for female athletes. The New England Patriots want to make women’s flag football a high school sport in all six New England states, and we are counting on you to help us achieve this goal.
